Founder's Story

We launched our organic Tennessee Mushroom farm in 2022. We fell in love with growing them and were dissapointed in products on the market that contained Chinese mushrooms or mycelium fillers.

The idea for Sipsta came to me during a particularly overwhelming week in 2023. I was juggling back-to-back client meetings, struggling with afternoon brain fog, and relying on a cycle of coffee crashes and evening wine to manage my energy and stress. There had to be a better way.

That weekend, I discovered functional mushrooms through a friend who swore by Lion's Mane for focus. Within days of adding it to my routine, I noticed sharper thinking and better sleep. But mixing mushroom powders into water felt clinical, not celebratory. I wanted the ritual and sophistication of a well-crafted cocktail with the wellness benefits I was experiencing.

After months of experimenting in my kitchen, blending traditional botanical spirits with functional mushrooms, Sipsta was born. Not as an alcohol alternative, but as something entirely new: beverages that enhance how you feel, think, and perform.
